Andhra Pradesh state
was formed on November 1st 1956 . The state extends up to an
Area of about 2,75,068 Sq kms and is having a population of
about 6.7 Crores (Approx). According to the Government
Records there is about 45.11% literary rate. The state is
having a coastline of nearly 1000 kms. Andhra Pradesh is
Rich in culture and Heritage, in Music, in Dance, Drama etc.
The pride of Andhra Pradesh by containing much
cultivated land, which is under the great rivers like
Godavari, Krishna, Penna etc, that flow across the state and
merge in to the Bay of Bengal . Main languages are Telugu,
Urdu , Hindi and English.Telugu people celebrate different
festivals like Ugadi (Telugu New Year day),
Sankranti, Desara and many more. There are about 23
districts that are spread across the state in the different
regions like Andhra (Coastal Districts), Telangana,
Rayalaseema etc. |
